Our experience dates back to the first ever consultant-led agency search in 1974. Our proven methodologies have been continually refined over the past 30 years, and applied to a wide variety of agencies, including: agencies of record, multi-cultural, media, interactive, public relations, Yellow Pages, Co-Op, POP/POS, Promotions, and other specialty agencies. We typically begin any client assignment with a benchmarking and agency assessment, since we firmly believe it is more desirable to repair or improve an existing relationship when possible, vs. beginning a brand new relationship with a different agency. Should our assessment validate the need for a complete agency search, we follow our proprietary six-step process to do so.
In the case of clients retaining multiple agency partners, we typically suggest a consolidation initiative to explore opportunities for combining multiple services within a single agency or agency network. As part of our search effort, we typically conduct the compensation negotiation on behalf of our clients. Often times, companies retain ABA for agency monitoring support; asking us to ensure the relationship remains as productive and as cost effective as possible.
